President's Charity

Each year the President selects one or two charities that we will support during the year.  For 2009-10, as Martin has been involved for a number of years working with Knutsford scouts, he has selected the Tatton Park campsite Chapel appeal as his charity for the year. This hopes to raise sufficeient money  to build an outdoor chapel on the Scout Campsite and Activity Centre on Tatton Park.

Christmas Event for Children

Every year the Circle organises and runs a Christmas event for children in the parish aged between 4 and 9.  For many years we held a party for the children.  For the last few years we have organised a trip to the Pantomime.

Bursary Fund

The Catenian Bursary Fund helps Catholics aged 16 to 24 to participate on community-based projects at home and abroad, which have a clear benefit for others as well as for the participant.

In 2008-09  we have helped two young people from the Knutsford area to join volunteer projects in sub-Saharan Africa.
