President's Charity

Each year the President selects one or two charities that we will support during the year.  For 2008-09 our incoming President has decided to adopt the Catenian  Centenary Appeal as his nominated charity. This national appeal, working with CAFOD, the official overseas development and relief agency of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, will pay for clean water projects in Southern Africa, especially Zimbabwe where there is great need.

Christmas Event for Children

Every year the Circle organises and runs a Christmas event for children in the parish aged between 4 and 9.  For many years we held a party for the children.  For the last few years we have organised a trip to the Pantomime.
